The guy's had back problems for several years, is coming off an awful 2005, and happens to be 35 years old, an age when many sluggers that aren't on the juice start hitting the downside of their careers. And to get him they trade Aaron Rowand? Please. I think the heady days of the 2005 World Series win has addled Sox fans' brains.
