Cupcakes Are Made, Man!
It's just after 6 p.m. CST, and quite a bit of the day's to do list is done. Had a small glitch when the dryer decided to stop spitting out hot air, but the repair service can come early next week, so we may avoid going to the [gasp!] laundromat. Kids are in the basement with me watching one of my all time favorite Christmas cartoons -- "The Year Without A Santa Claus." Weekend is slowly coming into view...

Way to go, John on your task-filled day. I'd like a cupcake, too, but I bet they're gone by the time I get there.
My blog is down, so I'm blogging via the comment boxes of others all over town. Hailey and I had a nice birthday breakfast this morning (eggs and pancakes for her). Tarzan Joe has this car this morning - he dropped us off at the Buzz Cafe, but we had to walk home (cold!!!). Hailey was quite thrilled with her birthday gifts - paricularly the Barbie Pegasus horse head that you can "groom" (with makeup and hair clips) and the My Little Pony Island. There were some tears from Rachel - she wants a horse head of her own. I'm not terribly pleased with the karaoke machine - it's tricky to get the right mic-cd volume balance so that you can actually hear the people singing.
